Advisory Board
The Advisory Board meets four times per year. Its role is to:
- Provide strategic advice to assist Landscape Logic to achieve its goals.
- Approve research plans.
- Oversee the annual evaluation of the each project.
- Facilitate communication between Landscape Logic, CMOs, as well as local, state and Australian government agencies and other parties with an interest in the outcomes of the research.
- Facilitate linkages with activities within member's organisations and agencies.
- Assist in identifying collaborative opportunities with governments, the community and the private sector.
- Identify pathways and mechanisms to improve the uptake of Landscape Logic outcomes.
- Decisions of the board are by consensus wherever possible. When that is not possible the chair will report the majority view to the Director along with a summary of alternative views.
- The board has no management responsibilities or authority over research outputs and does not provide technical advice.
